Hedrin 4% Lotion is the UK’s first and only licensed medicine specifically developed to eradicate head lice without neurotoxins and the resistance issues commonly associated with them. Available over the counter, Hedrin offers an effective head lice treatment using ingredients with good safety profiles.
Hedrin’s active ingredient, 4% dimeticone, is delivered in a silicone-based lotion that effectively kills lice by encapsulating the insects, and thus disrupting their ability to manage water.
Warning
Discontinue at the first appearance of a skin rash or any other signs of local or general hypersensitivity. For external use only. If accidentally introduced into the eyes, flush with water. Side Effects: Minor adverse events include an itchy or flaky scalp and dripping/irritation around the eyes.
